Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival Bhubaneswar – Puri
Transfer from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BBI) to Puri. On the way, visit Dhauli (the Peace Pagoda), Lingaraj Temple, and Chausath (64) Yogini Temple. Upon reaching Puri, check into the hotel in the evening and enjoy time at Puri Beach. Overnight stay at Puri.
Day 2: Explore Puri
After breakfast, visit Sri Jagannath Temple (non-Hindus are not allowed), Gundicha Temple (Mausima Temple), and Bedi Hanuman Temple. Then depart for Satapada, Chilka, visiting Alarnath Temple en-route. At Chilka Lake, take a boat ride (direct payment) to see the Irrawaddy Dolphins and the Hradaya–Sagar Sangam (where the lake meets the sea). Enjoy the day at India’s largest inland lake (spread over 1,100 sq km). Return to Puri in the evening, relax at Golden Beach, and enjoy shopping at the local market. Overnight stay at Puri.
Day 3: Explore Puri – Konark – Puri
After breakfast, drive to Konark via the marine drive. Visit Chandrabhaga Beach and Ramchandi Temple, then explore the famous Sun Temple (Black Pagoda), a 12th-century temple richly decorated with stone carvings. In the evening, enjoy the light and sound show in Konark (at your own cost). Return to Puri for overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure
Transfer from Puri to Biju Patnaik International Airport (BBI) for your onward journey.
